“I only recently learned of the passing of someone I called "Uncle Enos" (my mother's cousin). He and his first wife, Helen, allowed me to live with them in 1966-67 so that my father could seek medical treatment for a rare tropical disease. That's what led to my graduating from 8th grade at Atholton. Uncle Enos taught me how to water ski and inspired me to learn carpentry (as an adult) and build 2 homes, acting as my own contractor.”
