He was predeceased by: his former wife Alice Kelley Omer. He is survived by: his children, Earl Omer, Jr. (Andrea) of Virginia, Susan Sharpe (Kenneth) of Texas, Kent Omer of Severn, Edie Lavallee (Brian) of Severna Park and Orhan Omer (Michelle) of Severna Park; his grandchildren, Rebekah, Jonathan, Allison, Rachel, Abigail, Michael, Joseph, Andrew and Samantha; his wife Scarlette Wilkinson Omer; and his stepdaughters, Amanda Orr (Jeremy) and Emily Kassouf (Wayne). He is also survived by one brother, two sisters and many nieces and nephews.
