He is survived by: his children, Megan Lynch Wheeler of New Windsor, MD and Douglas Wallis Wheeler of Washington, D. C.; his grandchildren, Eliza L. Wheeler, Jordan A. Wheeler and F. Wallis "Frankie" Wheeler III; his sister Wallis A. Wheeler; his nephew Damon M. Tabor of Richmond, VA.; and his close friend Mary I. "Pete" Martin.
