We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2019, at the age of 87, Dorothy Blakslee (Columbia, Maryland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Adams Carter and Alice Helen Thorburn; her siblings, Thomas Carter, Francis Supernaw and Carol Darling; her husband Edward Sr.; her children, Edward Jr., Lorraine, Dorry and Michelle; her brother John Carter; and her son Samuel C. Blakslee. She was also cherished by 11 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for monetary.
