He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Dr. Kevin Wyatt McMahon. He is survived by: his wife Deepani; his daughter Enusha; his grandchildren, Desmond and Lumini; and his siblings, Sarath Kumara, Wimala, Nanda and Sheela. He is also survived by many loving extended family members and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Don Karunasena may be directed to support cancer research at the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center.
