With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Denise Murphy (Columbia, Maryland), who passed away on August 24, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas Murphy; her parents, Dennis Doyle and Frances Doyle; and her siblings, Mike and Kathleen Doyle.

She is survived by: her children, Karen F. Murphy, Suzanne M. Rosier (Michael), Mary E. Vitullo (Mitch) and Michael T. Murphy (Liz); her grandchildren, Owen, Noah, Mathias, Danielle, Aiden and Declan; and her sister Mary Fran Evert (George).

“Glenn and I are sorry to learn of Denise’s passing. We shared many great times with her and Tom at their cabin in The Woods. We enjoyed many home cooked meals at our house together or dining out with Tom & Denise. We often shared a nightcap out on their lovely screened in porch listening and observing nature. They were such a dear sweet couple. I am just so sad. One thing that tickles me is that Denise would never share her age. Now we know! I am sure she is at peace now with God and Tom. ❤️❤️”
