It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Harry Dougherty of Columbia, Maryland, born in Hawthorne, Nevada, who passed away on October 23, 2017, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Stanley Dougherty and Norma Elizabeth Dougherty (Thoraldson); and his brothers, Robert Martin Dougherty and Thomas James Dougherty. He is survived by: his daughter Tara Jenkins of Hagerstown; his sisters, Donna L. Schwendinger (Phil) of El Paso, Lana Rutter of Rockport, Ramona E Ulbricht (Richard) of Oysterville, Priscilla A. Dougherty of Austin, Susan M. Ubelhor of Phoenix and Norma J. McDonald of Eden; and his uncle Edward Dougherty of Richmond. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins.
