He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack William Nugent and Barbara Prewitt Nugent. He is survived by: his wife Carla Holldorb-Nugent; his siblings, Gaye Dykstra, Nancy Connell (Tom), Mary Ellen Raiman (Stewart) and Peter; his sister-in-law Renate Groeschel; and his niece Doris Makhecha (Roger).
