It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Ackerman (Columbia, Maryland), who passed away on November 6, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Anne Manning; his parents, Cecil Ackerman and Elizabeth Ackerman; his siblings, R. C. (Christy Ackerman), Margie Tice, Ken (Rita Ackerman), Cedy (Larry Pool), Joan Ackerman, Rose (Steve Honeycutt) and Julian Ackerman; his aunt Mollie Bowers; his daughter Marti; his former wife Louise Campbell Marsh; his children, Malia, Chau, Chanh and Zip; his siblings, Cindy and Herb; and his grandchildren, Catherine and Justin. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
