With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Clayton who passed away on April 2, 2020 at the age of 64. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carol Clayton to pay them a last tribute. You may also light a candle in honor of Carol Clayton.
She was predeceased by :her brother, David Clayton, her Aunt Patricia Mazziotte; her grandmother Mary Mazziotte and her father Richard Clayton. She is survived by :her significant other William “Billy” Larkin; her mother Margaret Clayton of Odenton; her siblings, Joe and Susan Urick ; her 3 children, Joe Tobin, Margot Tobin and Victoria Dameron. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren plus another she looked at as her own grandchild. They all had multiple nicknames; Jasmine (Digalouch), Alexandra (Mosey girl) , Heaven (Heavy or Heav) , Hailey (Hail), Sammy, Lilly, Allijah, Mikey, Abella and Jewels , two great grandchildren that she absolutely adored Carter and Junior and 8 nieces and nephews along with tons of extended family and friends.
She owned Tobins Feed in Gambrills Maryland for 22 years. She was very well known, loved and respected in the community. She also was known by her orchard also located in Gambrills where she had the sweetest fruit around. She had so many amazing customers that turned into friendships over time that would stop by just to see her. She truly loved them all and would tell stories about her customers that would make her laugh, smile and cry up until she passed away. She also owned multiple race horses that were born and raised on her farm along with many other animals in Crownsville Maryland. She enjoyed running, eating healthy, spending time with her children and grandchildren, going to church and traveling, Which is why later in life she went to work for the airlines and flew all over the world. She got to see so much of the world. Plus as a child her loving parents Richard and Margaret Clayton worked for the government, they lived oversees and worked hard to give their children the best life they could. She was sent to the best schools in the world. She was truly blessed! She had a big heart and always wanted to help out people in need. She has friends from all walks of life and will truly be missed.
Due to Covid 19 we will be holding off on funeral arrangements. Once this passes we will be having a celebration of life and will keep everyone updated. Thank you for all of your support during this hard time. There has been hundreds of people that have sent their condolences. I can only imagine how much she is smiling from Heaven seeing the outpour of love for her.
