She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughters, Shari Jenell Trigg of Columbia and Aurora Jacquese Trigg of Melbourne, Florida; her grandchildren, Jacquillia J. M. Hooper, Juan G. Thomas and J'nez A. Thomas; her great grandchildren, Jache, Cheyenne S. Hooper and Nyla S. Hooper; her parents, Lucy B. Carrington Cooke and Otis Cooke; and her friend Sorority.

In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate contributions to the Aurora Lou Cooke Trigg Scholarship Fund to benefit African American women majoring in the sciences.
