It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Yates of Coltons Point, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on December 25, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Smith Hodges and Eleanor S. Pogue; her husband Robert Edward Yates; and her siblings, Richard G. Hodges and Ernestine H. Wormwood.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lois Kathleen Yates of Clements, MD and Carol Lee Brandt (Gerald) of Arlington, VA; her brother Frank H. Hodges of Bushwood, MD; and her grandchildren, Anna Steenburn, Thomas Yates, Charles Brooks, Taylor Brandt, John Brandt, Danielle Brooks and Victoria Brooks. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
