With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard I. Montgomery (Colora, Maryland), born in Port Deposit, Maryland, who passed away on November 8, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Henry and Minnie Montgomery (Graybeal); his wife Janet Louise Moore Montgomery; his brother Henry Montgomery (Bud); and his son-in-law Dale Whitenight.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Whitenight of Bloomsburg, PA and Joe Montgomery (Sue) of Rising Sun, MD; his grandchildren, Richard Long (Karoleigh) of Riverside, PA, Vanessa and Amanda Montgomery of Rising Sun, MD; his stepgrandchildren, Chris and Katie Kimber of Riverside, PA; his great grandchildren, Ricky Long of Berwick, PA and Ava Grace Stevenson of Rising Sun, MD; his stepgreat-grandchildren, J. J. and Gracie Murphy; and his siblings, Paul Montgomery (Kay) of North East, MD, Doris Jones (Fred), Catonsville, MD, Ruth Brown (Wayne) and Rising Sun, MD.
