He was predeceased by: his parent Jesse C. Steppe. He is survived by: his children, Loretta Jugler, Russell Steppe Jr., Ginny Johnson (Tom), Michael Steppe (Dawn), David Steppe and Carol Burchfield-Griffith; his sister-in-law Louise Steppe; and his close friend Shortcake. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
