It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilmer Venetia Sydnor Gross of College Park, Maryland, born in Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on November 17, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Sydnor Sr. and Ella Watkins Sydnor; and her siblings, Richard, Everette, Ruby, Loretta, Gloria, Barbara and Annella.
She is survived by: her friend Elwood Gross; her daughters, Maxine and Delphine Gross; her granddaughter Abigail Cohen; her son-in-law Neil Cohen; and her siblings-in-law, Carol Sydnor, Sarah Royster and Hubert Wynn. She is also survived by other loving relatives and caring friends.
