It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Martin Dunn of College Park, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on June 15, 2020, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his friend Melveny; his wife Linda; his daughters, Emily, Molly and Maggie; his parents, Kay Dunn and Mike Dunn; his stepfather Bob Colish; his brothers, Dunnie (Karen) and Charlie (Ginny); and his stepsisters, Mary (Chip), Linda (Ed) and Julia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Not only was he among the very best in his field (an especially demanding one), but also he was invariably modest and helpful to other, lesser souls. What I will miss more than anything else will be Marty’s razor-sharp wit. He was a scholar, an educator, an entertainer, a fine fellow.
