Temple Sr. of College Park, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 7, 2025 at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Temple and Edith Temple; his brother James Temple Jr.; and his nephew Christopher Badaczewski. He is survived by: his children, Lori Austin and Kendall Temple Jr. (Kathy); his stepdaughter Julia Bartel; his grandchildren, Joshua Temple (Jillian), Tirza Austin, Jaime Ownby (Nicholas), Lydia Venuti (Sam), Matthew Temple, Abigail Rose (Dan), Sarah Temple and Berith Austin; his stepgrandchildren, Zach and Ray Adams; his great grandchildren, Avery Temple, Pearl Austin, Audrey Temple, Sophia Temple, Eli Temple, Carter Ownby, Jackson Venuti, Carson Ownby and Bruce Seals, III; his sister Tina Yingling (Ron); his niece Cara Risher; his great-nephew Christopher Risher; his great-niece Marilyn Risher; and also Ken.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory (2973 Solomons Island Rd, Edgewater, MD 21037). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Fort Lincoln Cemetery (3401 Bladensburg Rd, Brentwood, MD 20722).
