He was predeceased by: his daughter Kelli Moran; and his sister Alice Walker. He is survived by: his wife Donna Ferguson; his daughter Kristina Moran; his grandchildren, Michelle VanHorn, Wendi VanHorn and John VanHorn III; his great grandchildren, Summer Steibel and Brazen VanHorn; his stepdaughter Joie Robinson; his stepgrandchildren, Kyle Mascetti, BreAnne Mascetti and Olivia Gray; and his stepgreat-grandsons, Mason Ford and Lorenzo Ford.
Because of the Coronavirus pandemic, a Memorial service will be planned at Borgwardt Funeral Home in Beltsville, Maryland at a later date, and a funeral service will be planned at Arlington National Cemetery, date to-be-determined.
