He is survived by: his pets, Rio, Blackster, Elektra, McGIll and Suki; his stepson Alexander McNamee; his daughter-in-law Elena Bogatyreva; his grandson Maximillian McNamee (Lutherville, MD); his brothers, Roger Mathews and Robert Mathews (Managua); and his nephews, Steve (Tokyo), Tibeau (Montreal) and Albert Mathews (Montreal).
