He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Anna; his son-in-law Chris Conaway of Severn, MD; his son Mike; his daughter-in-law Angie Pycha (Nixon) of Ashburn, VA; his son Steven Pycha; his grandchildren, Zachary Conaway (Marilyn), Ethan Conaway (Jael), Owen Pycha, Olivia Pycha, Connor Pycha and Marissa Pycha; his great grandchildren, Analise Conaway and Nathaniel Conaway; his wife Alice; his parents, George and Ann; and his brother Gene. He was also cherished by grandfather to his six grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his name to the American Parkinson Disease Association.
