She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Simon Vincent Avara; her children, Michael Avara (Robyn), Thomas Avara (Kathy), Lawrence Avara (Tina) and Susan Watson (Owen); her grandchildren, Lauren, Rachael, Michele, Joshua, Victoria, Jaclyn, Christopher, Elise, Danielle and Daniel; her great grandchildren, Charis, Aaron, Benaiah, Beckett, Brooks and Ava; her sister Eva Bolton (George); and her parents, Laurence Gioga and Antonietta Gioga.
