Jacob Matz Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jacob Matz of Cockeysville, Maryland, who passed away on December 5, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Paul Matz (Belle), Herbert "Hunky" Matz (Jeannette), Rose Ginsburg (Harry), Wilbur Matz, Esther Matz, Lillian "Libby" Charles (Aaron), Lester Matz (Shirley), Charles Matz and Paula "Peggy" Matz; and his parents, Harry Matz and Sarah Matz.

He is survived by: his wife Lola Carol Matz; his children, Charles E. Matz, Michael D. Matz, Rosalyn Matz and Helaine Matz; his granddaughter Samantha Fried; and his siblings-in-law, Henrietta Matz, Janet Penn, Marlene Murphy (Kevin) and Dr. Hervey Sande (Renee). He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
