She was predeceased by: her son Alexander E. Platania; and her brother Gennaro Lamberti. She is survived by: her husband Gaetano Platania; her children, Bondanzia Summers (Michael) and Joseph F. Platania; her granddaughter Alyssa Marie Dunkle; her stepgrandsons, Stephen Summers and Scott Summers; and her siblings, Gaetano Lamberti, Santino Lamberti, Anthony Lamberti, Joanne McNeir, Carmela Catherman and Rita Lamberti. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
