He is survived by: his sister Sissy (Jimbo); his son Ryan Gardiner; and his siblings, Claudia "Dixie" Ogg, Elizabeth McKenzie, John "Johnny" Gardiner and Charles "Charlie" Gardiner. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
