He is survived by: his brother Bobby (, DC); his friends, Bobby, Pete, Lindsey and Scooter Rooter; his wife Deborah Butler (Briscoe); his siblings-in-law, LaDonna Daniel, Eric Daniel and James Daniel; his children, Thomasine Singleton Butler (Sinie), Tany'a Butler (Tammy), Dr. Christy Gray (Reginald) and Thomas Reed Butler, 3rd; his great grandchildren, Terrin Dickerson, Jamecia Butler, Caleb Butler and Jaylen Butler of Cashton McCalvin, Mi; his goddaughters, Keisha Matthews and Sandra Holton (Hemsley); his aunt Jane F. Watson; and his siblings, Huppie (Lucy), James "Jackie", Pete, Howard "Buddy", Melvin (Bernice), Charles (Agnes), Shirley Matthews (George), Joy Ann Burton, Patricia Enoch-Johnson, Linda Murray (Gerald) and Judy Hilton (Dwight). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
