It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Taft Ross Jr. of Clinton, Maryland, born in South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlener (Chapman) and William H; and his brothers, Izelle Smith and Matthew Ross. He is survived by: his children, Mark and Alice Ross; his siblings, Mary Newsome of South Bend, IN, Estelle Edwards of Samson, AL and Otis Smith of Clinton, MD; and his close friend Adrian. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren.
