He was predeceased by: his siblings, Dan, Doug, Ed, Jim, Shirley, Dotsie Rodrigo, Delores Knight and Irene Andrus; his children, Sharon and Gary; and his wife Christine Bernadette Harvat.
He is survived by: his siblings, Thomas (Elaine) of Phillipsburg, NJ, Brenda Bent (George) of Phillipsburg, NJ and Lynn Lloyd (WV); his children, Robert Harvat (Lusby, MD) and Lorraine Harvat Shepardson (Chesapeake Beach, MD); his granddaughters, Christine Welch, Jessica Commodore, Christian Shepardson and Elaina Shepardson; his stepgranddaughter Crystal Hilton; and his great grandchildren, Kyleigh, Teagan Welch, Skyler Commodore and Ricky Spenser.
