He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Bagby and Annie Eagle Austin; his son Kevin Austin; and his son-in-law Paul Caruso. He is survived by: his children, Sandra Caruso (Bob Matters) and Edwin Austin (Jane Austin); his wife Margaret Pearl Cook; his sister Esther Crosby; his grandchildren, Brittany Moudry, Mallory Smith, Conner Austin, Morgan Sinding and Aubriana Hawley; and his great grandchildren, Kairi Smith and Nolan Sinding. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Upper Marlboro.
