It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Hilda Branson of Clinton, Maryland, born in Accokeek, Maryland, who passed away on February 1, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Claggett and Edna Claggett; her siblings, Adell Advent, EdnaMae Brown, Elizabeth Lewis-Davis, Theresa Fox, Anthony Claggett and Joseph Claggett; her son-in-law Adriel Bullock; her grandson Troye E. Bullock, Sr.; and her nephew Dr. Charles Claggett (Neice Ann Newman).
She is survived by: her children, Barry Cromwell (Ann), Gary Yancy (Kim), Gregory Yancy (Regina), Veronica Bullock (late Adriel) and Terry Branson; her siblings, Margaret Harris, Veronica Graham (James) and Charles Claggett (Theresa); her caregiver Deborah Jackson; and her goddaughter Margo Brown. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
