It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hurt Callands of Clinton, Maryland, who passed away on May 5, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, McKinley William Callands and Roxie Ann Terry Callands; his wife Lisa Charlene Jones Callands; his siblings, Prophetess A. C. Clark and William Anthony Callands; and his foster parents, Booker T. Callands, Jr. and Gladys Glass Callands.
He is survived by: his daughter Melina Callands of Clinton, MD; his father-in-law Lycurtis Jones of Cambridge, MD; his caregiver Lola Harper-Clyburn (Phillip) of Clinton, MD; his siblings, Rose Lange (Theodore) of Albany, NY and Willian Mckinley, Jr. of Washington, D. C.; his aunt Theresa Deshazor of Danuille, VA; and his close friends, Joe Smith of Landover, MD and Michael Warner of Clinton, MD. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
