It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest White of Clinton, Maryland, born in Marion Junction, Alabama, who passed away on October 23, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry White and Sarah White; his wife Barbara "Ann" White; his children, Ernest White Jr. (Cheryl), Andre White (Frances) and Ernestine Hamler (Eugene); his siblings, John C. White, Henry White, Willie White, Percy White, Josephine Clay, Luveninia Essinger, Mattie Jones, Sarah Dickerson and Bessie Fenderson; and his sons-in-law, James Payne, William Jackson Sr., Terrance Boswell Sr. and Thomas Moore Sr..
He is survived by: his children, Jawanda Guy (Roger), Kathleen White, Tammy Boswell, Rose Givens, Bobbie Moore (Barbara) and Heidi Groce; and his sister DeAnna Parks. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Jerusalem Church (2100 W 3rd St, Chester, PA 19013). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at the Lawn Croft Cemetery (1000 W Ridge Rd, Linwood, PA 19061).
