It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Douglas Harvey (Clinton, Maryland), who passed away on January 26, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his former spouse Clothilda George-Harvey (Clo); his parents, Dr. Lester and Jackie Harvey; his wife Clo Harvey; his son Tehron George; his goddaughter Candis Henson; his grandchildren, Israel, Zariah, Carter and Cairo; his sisters, Linda Sadeghi, Leslie Harvey and Lisa Andrus (Bryan); his mother-in-law Bernadine Garrett; his siblings-in-law, Sandra Niecy Lancaster and Orrin Dwight Whitaker (Carolyn); and his aunts, Ann Harvey, Thelma Vander Weide and Alice Johnson. He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins and friends to.

He and I had a wonderful father/son relationship which included our being battery mates (pitcher/catcher) at 5 major league fantasy camps. Doug will be greatly missed.
