He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Mortis and Lillian Mortis; and his siblings, Allen and Patricia of Long Island. He is survived by: his wife Isabella Mortis; his children, Tracy, Pamela, Derrick and Jill; and his nieces, Nicole and Monifa. He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
