He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Douglas and Ruby Lucille Hornbeak; and his wife Barbara Ann Hornbeak. He is survived by: his sons, Todd Eric Hornbeak (Sherri) of Waldorf, MD and William Bradley Hornbeak (Margaret) of Mechanicsville, MD; his grandchildren, Carla Hornbeak DiMichele (Nick), Brandon Carl Hornbeak (Tessa), Stephanie Ann Hornbeak (Samuel) and Brittany Hornbeak Brunet (Dillion); his great grandchildren, Brynlee, Lincoln, Annabelle, Kinley, Logan, Hudson, Charlie, Anthony, Harrison, Rylie, Tristin and Ryker; and his brother William Allen Hornbeak (Sharon) of Leonardtown, MD.
In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made in Carl's name to the Clinton volunteer fire department and rescue squad; at 9025 Woodyard Rd, Clinton, MD 20735.
