It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Dean Folsom Jr. of Temple Hills, Maryland, born in Olney, Maryland, who passed away on February 19, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Dean Folsom, Sr. and Mary Eva Johnson (Bladen); his brother Merle Folsom; and his step-father Robert Ira Johnson. He is survived by : his children, Cynthia Bancroft (William), Alan Folsom (Patricia), Carla Crompton (Michael), Mary Untch (Robert) and Melanie Folsom; his grandchildren, Michelle Elder (Justin), Kimberly Surratt, Justin Bancroft (Natalie), Eric Crompton (April), Valerie Folsom (Justin), Briana McDowell and Jessica Untch (Polo); and his brother Robert Folsom (Johnnie).
Due to COVID-19 a memorial service will be planned in the spring or early summer to celebrate Dean's life.
In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake.
