He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Mae Raley Hurry and Jon Donelin Hurry; his former wife Katherine Leila Radford; his children, James Michael Hurry and Katherine Claire Radford; and his siblings, John William Hurry, Joseph Donald Hurry (Scoogie), Agnes Hurry Healey, Richard Johnson Hurry, James Raley Hurry, George Love Hurry (Scottie), Betty Hurry Russell, Lucy Hurry Anderson and Mary Hurry Sapp of Virginia.
He is survived by: his wife Georgia Ellen Oliver Hurry; and his children, Philip Henry Hurry of Miami, FL, Melanie Genevieve Guy of Mechanicsville, MD, JoAnne Louise Alu of Dunkirk, MD, John Bernard Hurry of Clements, MD, Joseph David Hurry of Clements, MD and Lorretta Lynn Fields of Clements, MD. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.
