It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vincent Allen Grimes Sr. (Clear Spring, Maryland), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 2, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Grimes and Dorcille Grimes (Haynes); his daughter Dorcille Grimes; and his sister Major Gwendolyn Grimes-Ford. He is survived by: his children, Kaehisha "Cici" Grimes of Clear Spring, MD and Vincent Allen Grimes Jr. (Brittney Levett) of Waynesboro, PA; his siblings, Sheridan Vanputten, Anne Grimes-Range, Theresa Grimes-Arshan and Martin Grimes of Philadelphia, PA; his uncle Samuel Grimes (Mattie); and his grandchildren, Javin, Mariah, Saemyriah, Madison, Brycen and Kasandra. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Vincent's honor to your local American Legion.
