He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Detrow Hebb and Phyllis Irene Hebb (Foltz). He is survived by: his wife Brenda M. Hebb (Ecton) of Big Pool; his sons, Richard Hebb II (Amy) of Greencastle, PA and Ryan Hebb of Big Pool, MD; his grandsons, Austin and Hunter Hebb; and his sister-in-law Karen Lemaster.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Richard's honor to the Hebb Family Memorial Fund, c/o Community Foundation of Washington County MD, Inc, 37 S. Potomac Street, Hagerstown, MD 21740, to support a young adult pursuing an agricultural endeavor.
