She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Carlene Elizabeth Staley (Brown) of Clear Spring, MD and Cecil Newman Staley; her son Robert Hare; her siblings, Elizabeth Miller (Dave), Krista Bonds, Donald Staley (Deb) and Wade Staley (Lisa); her grandchildren, Raina Hare, James Hare and Dimitri Hare (Raymond Hare); and her brother James Staley. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
