She was predeceased by: her parents, W. Don Hill and Edna Mae Hill (Peck); her husband Charles Edwin Shirk; her daughter Susan Mills; and her siblings, Dorothy Plessinger, Ella Mae Richardson and Alton Hill.
She is survived by: her children, Janis Sanders, Felicia Hill, Edwin Shirk (Bonnie), Charles A. Shirk (Wendy) and Rodney Shirk (Lori); her grandchildren, Wendy, Kristi (Anthony), James (Danielle), Lindsay (Matthew), Paige (Anthony), Rebekah (Bruce), Kaitlyn (Austin), Sarah (Nick), Devin and Mary (Nevin); and her great-nephew Matthew Banzhoff. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
