He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Chaney and Janet Tosten Chaney; his wife Pat (Reese); and his brother Herman Chaney. He is survived by: his sons, Eric Chaney (Leslie) of Sanibel, Florida and Matthew (Mary Beth) of Hagerstown, Maryland; his grandson Seth Chaney of Hagerstown, Maryland; his sisters-in-law, Ruby Chaney of Clear Spring, Maryland and Betty Jane Hutzel of Hagerstown, Maryland; and his friend Katie Bugg. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
