Irene Ellen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Nelson and Edna Irene Nelson (Marshall); her husband John Edward Clopper, Sr.; her sons, Daniel J. Kending, John E. Clopper, Jr. and Robert A. Clopper, Sr.; her brothers, Martin I. Nelson and Leroy M. Nelson; her son-in-law Robert S. Hudson Jr.; her grandson Gregg L. Clopper; and her great grandchild Roan C. Izer.
She is survived by: her children, Marty H. Kending (Barbara), Ellen M. Hudson, Karen M. Gonzalez and Crystal A. Bono; her grandson John; her children, Ayden and Gabriel Lacerda; and also, John Clopper, III, Jenny Nickerson (Collin), Joey Clopper, Dan Kending, Monique Airasian (Andrew), Kristen Troupis (Andrew), William McCracken (Nicole), Robert "Bobby" Clopper, Jr. (Vivian), Keren Guptill (Jesse), Melanie Snyder (Jeff), Brian Hudson (Jamie), Deanna Izer (Dillan), Kaitlyn Hudson, Kyle Toms (Kelli), Crystal Lacerda (Raphael), Cyndi Scenna (Matt), Christopher Bona, Dina Clopper, Brooke, Maddie Clopper, Ian Clopper, Shiane, Joseph Clopper, Beaux, Lennox Nickerson, Trinity, Pheonix, Jaxen, Kolten, Ellie Kending, Andy, Gus Airasian, Leah McCraken, Trinitee, Shyanne Tomlensen, Ethan, Victoria Clopper, Adrianna, Austin Guptill, Lucas, Abigayle, Aaron Snyder, Morghann, Skyler Culp, Emily, Lexi, Wyatt, Levi Hudson, Waylon, Ruby, Scarlett Izer and Emerson Kending. She is also survived by her 39 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home (1331 Eastern Blvd N, Hagerstown, MD 21742). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Evangel Baptist Church (17922 Broadfording Rd, Hagerstown, MD 21740).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Evangel Baptist Church or the Williamsport Lions Club.
