It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenn Mitchell King of Clear Spring, Maryland, born in Big Pool, Maryland, who passed away on November 28, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry King and Margaret Newton King (Bowers); and his siblings-in-law, Christine Funston, Walter Funston and Bill Kelley.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen King (Hawbaker); his children, Krista Knight (Darryl) and Todd King (Pat); his grandchildren, Shannon Doane (Erik), James King (Daniella), Amanda Villareal (Chris), Jessica Guess (Nate), Ryan Knight and Taylor Knight (Nikki); his great grandchildren, Raylan Knight, Natalie Knight, Everrett Knight, Olena Knight, Jacob Guess and Georgia Guess; and his siblings-in-law, Dr. Eldon Hawbaker (Mary Jane), Carl Hawbaker (Marianne), Mary Alice Kelley and Betty Lou Shank (Cork). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Due to current COVID-19 regulations, facial coverings are required and social distancing will be practiced.
