We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2021, at the age of 76, Gary Lee Hawbaker of Clear Spring, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Hawbaker and Alice Jane Hawbaker (Rubeck); his stepfather Robert Keckler; and his brothers, Ronnie, Max, Richard and Dave Hawbaker.

He is survived by: his wife Beverly Hawbaker (Mellott); his sons, Michael Todd Hawbaker (Tammy) and Keith Allen Hawbaker (Holly); his siblings, Dottie Hoffman, Clara Smith (Bill) and Samuel Hawbaker (Kathy); and his close friends, Ray, Mazie Long, Paul Divelbiss and Mike McKee. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Blairs Valley First Church of God, c/o Brenda Keefer, P.O. Box 161, Clear Spring, MD 21722 or to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Avenue, Hagerstown, MD 21742.
