With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Esther Audrey Bowen (Clear Spring, Maryland), born in Hagerstown, Maryland, who passed away on April 5, 2018 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Alfred "Joe" Eldon McAllister; and her former husbands, James Shelby and Ralph Bowen. She is survived by: her parent Ruth Elizabeth McAllister (Henson); her children, Roy Shelby (Annie) of Clear Spring, Pam Cavender (Denny) of Mercersburg, June Bishop (Rocky) of Clear Spring, Peggy Shelby of Clear Spring and Rhonda Needy of Clear Spring; her brother Ronald McAllister (Barb) of Clear Spring; and her daughter Diane Gloyd. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
