He was predeceased by: his parents, John Roger Yeakle and Helen Elizabeth Yeakle (Heckman); his wife Shirley Yeakle; and his brother Terry Yeakle (Les). He is survived by: his children, Donald Yeakle Jr. (Dodie), Dixie Englehart (Jeff), Rodney Yeakle (Deb) and Susie Albert (Brian); his grandchildren, Angie, Brandon, Troy, Mandy, Cody, Casey, Shea, Tori and Lexi; and his great grandchildren, Linnae, Lila, Brennen, Kason, Kayda, Kannon, Levin, Gage and Kendall.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday two hours prior to the service from 9:30 to 11:30 a. m. Due to current COVID-19 regulations, facial coverings are required and social distancing will be practiced.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Donnie's honor to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Avenue, Hagerstown, MD 21742.
