With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Buddy Joe Compton of Clear Spring, Maryland, born in Bluefield, West Virginia, who passed away on June 3, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John David Compton and Sylvia May Compton Bowles (Barger). He is survived by: his wife Louise Compton; his children, Tina Johnson (Jack), Cindy Hesse (Richard) and John (Michelle); and his grandchildren, Andrea Yonek (Anthony), Jeremy Johnson (Blake), Amanda Heckman (Bryant), Rose Russell (Chris) and Samuel Shank. He is also survived by four great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
