He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Huether and Margaret Huether; his wife Joan E. Huether; his daughters, JoAnn Barr of Westminster, MD and Sandra Wroblewski of Frankfurt, Germany; his daughter-in-law Catherine Huether of St. Augustine, FL.; his grandchildren, Ian, Olivia Barr of Westminster, MD, Eva Huether of St. Augustine, FL, Ty and Max Wroblewski of Frankfurt, Germany.; and his son David Wayne Huether.
