It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Hipp (Clarksville, Maryland), born in Olney, Maryland, who passed away on February 8, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Sue Earlene Alderton Oursler and Francis Leroy Oursler; and her sister Frances Yvonne Brandon. She is survived by: her spouse Furman "Butch" P. Hipp, Jr.; and her children, Annette Marie Coletta (Domenic), Mark Andrew Hipp (Barbara), John Steven Hipp (Christine), Sue Ellen Fuentes (James) and Jason Matthew Hipp (Sara). She is also survived by grandchildren and four (soon to be six) great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Those desiring to make memorial donations in her memory may do so to either St. Louis Church (address above) or the Fifth District Volunteer Fire Company, 5000 Signal Bell Lane, Clarksville, MD 21029.

“The World has lost a wonderful lady! Phyllis and I worked together at Vitro, at night, for many years. We had some great times together and many laughs. She was such a caring person, always there to lend a helping hand to everyone, no matter the need. Phyllis and Butch can be very proud of the beautiful family they raised which continues to grow with the addition of more great grandchildren.
