He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Vernon Hicks and Margaret Mehalic; his siblings, Sonny and Joann; and his son-in-law Daryl Disbrow.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia F Hicks; his children, Malcolm E Hicks Jr, Carla Northrop (Creig Northrop), Jolane Queen (Greg Queen) and Vicki Disbrow; his grandchildren, Kristin Miller, William Miller, Victoria Northrop, Alayna Queen, Jake Northrop, Kayla Disbrow and Jackson Queen; and his great grandchildren, Faith Noelle and Troy Owen Kiewra.
